August 27, 2025 <br />5 <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br />President Schwab opened the public hearing regarding the 2025-2030 Everett Transit <br />Development Plan and 2024 Annual Report. <br />Mike Schmieder and Brandon Hilby, Transit, provided the annual report. <br />Discussion ensued with Mike and Brandon answering Council questions. <br />There were no members of the public who wished to speak. <br />Moved by Council Member Fosse, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />BRIEFING AND ACTION ITEM: <br />RESOLUTION – POSTED SPEED LIMIT 16TH ST AND HOLLY DRIVE <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Fosse, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8206 revising the posted speed limit on the length of 16th St and Holly Drive between 100th <br />Street SW and Evergreen Way. <br />Corey Hert, Public Works, provided an overview of the proposed resolution. Discussion ensued <br />with Corey answering Council questions and he stated he would follow up with additional <br />information, as requested. <br />Council Member Rhyne left at 1:42 p.m. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member Rhyne, who was <br />excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />The City Council meeting adjourned at 1:58 p.m.
