<br />Page 9 of 33 <br /> <br />Example Park properties include, but are not limited to: <br /> Forest Park Area: <br />• Forest Park Swim Center, 16,390 sf. Photos in Appendix B, Item 1. The structure includes a large <br />natatorium, lobby entry, locker rooms, staff office, main pool, spa, family changing rooms, sauna, <br />separate mechanical rooms for main pool and spa, mechanical mezzanine above locker rooms, large <br />outside concrete sun deck, and modest outside children's wading pool. This pool facility has been <br />incrementally modernized since construction in 1976 but has been dormant for the past 5 years. <br />During the last 5 years that the pool was open (2015-2020), the following projects took place: <br />o Natatorium lighting, exhaust fan motor, and ceiling fan replaced. <br />o Replaced circulation pumps, flow meter, and chlorine feed to indoor and outdoor pools. <br />o Replaced main boilers and hot water boilers and installed tankless units in locker rooms. <br />o Replaced MCC and control system. <br />o Upgraded electrical distribution system for the main pump room and spa. <br />o Replaced chiller supply pump. <br />o Added new heat exchanger supply pump. <br />o Rebuild the Sauna interior and controls. <br />o Replaced sump pump drain. <br />o Replaced heating and cooling elements of the HVAC system. <br /> <br />• Forest Park Swim Center Building – Non-Pool Uses. Everett Parks is open to proposals for the Forest <br />Park Swim Center building that does not include pool use. Some ideas that emerged from the 2023 <br />Swim Center Feasibility Study include: <br />o Converting a portion of the indoor and outdoor space into an Early Learning Center and play area. <br />Photo in Appendix B, Item 1. <br />o Converting the indoor and outdoor space into a skate park. Photo in Appendix B, Item 1. <br />o Converting the indoor space into recreational courts. Photo in Appendix B, Item 1. <br />o Other ideas that were part of the study but that do not have drawings included are: <br />o Conversion to Private Lease space <br />o Event Center <br />o High Ropes Course <br />o Bouldering or Rock Climbing <br />o BMX Biking and Pump Track <br />o Yoga & Group Fitness Center <br />o General Fitness Uses <br /> <br />• Animal Farm in Forest Park, 802 E. Mukilteo Blvd. The area comprises 8 buildings on the west side of <br />Forest Park. Photos in Appendix B, Item 2. <br />o The Animal Farm Program spaces and sizes are described below: <br />o Classroom – 720 SF <br />o Bunny Bank – 80 sf <br />o Bunny Barn – 200 sf <br />o Duck Building – 200 sf <br />o Horse Barn – 1,100 sf <br />o Main Barn and Office – 828 sf <br />o Pig Building – 150 sf <br />o Poultry Building – 350 sf
