L EVERETT
COMMUNITY COLLEGE
2000TowerSireet - Everett,WA • 98201-1390 - 425.388.9100
City of Everett Hold Harmless Agreement
July 23, 2020
Tony Lee
Building Official
City of Everett Public Works
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
Dear Mr_ Lee:
This letter is intended to formally request that Everett Community College be allowed to submit
construction permit applications for our Learning Resource Center Project at 1001 N. Broadway
prior to approval by the Planning Department of the SEPA/Land Use Application submitted on
July 24, 2020.
We acknowledge to the City, that Everett Community College understands the risks associated
with submitting the building permit application prior to approval of the SEPA/Land Use
Application and further understands that submitting for a building permit does not vest the
project or imply that land use approvals will be given.
Finally, Everett Community College agrees to hold the City of Everett harmless for the loss of
paid application fees, design fees, and other fees that may be incurred if the SEPA/Land Use
comments cause the project to be altogether denied, affects the timeframe that creates a
feasibility issue related to the project or requires additional design modifications subsequent to
submittal of the building permit.
Sincerely,
Dr. Daria J. Willis
President, Everett Community College
Acceptance of Hold Harmless (to be signed by City) Date
