ORDINANCE NO, _`aj <br /> An ordinance amending Section 171 of ordinance No. 1260 <br /> of the city of Everett, being the Building Ordinance of said city. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 171 of Ordinance No. 1260 of the <br /> city of Everett, passed February 6, 1911, and approved February 7, <br /> 1911, being the Building Ordinance of the city of Everett, be, and <br /> the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 171: No frame or wooden building within the fire . <br /> limits that has become injured by wear and tear, demolition, the <br /> action of the elements, fire, or any other cause. shall be repeaired <br /> when such injury is more than thirty per cent of its actual value as <br /> decided by the building inspector and the chief of the fire depart- <br /> ment, and upon notice from the building inspector such building <br /> shall be demolished within thirty days. No wooden, shingle or shake <br /> roof of any existing building within the fire limits shall be re- <br /> newed except in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for <br /> the construction of new roofs within the fire limits.
