3 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 170 — <br /> An ordinance abolishing the office of assistant city engineer, <br /> and amending Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1575, passed February 24, 1914, <br /> and Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1594, passed April 21 , 1914, and de- <br /> claring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERFTT DOES OFDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1575, passed February <br /> 24, 1914, be and hereby is amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 9. City Engineer, two hundred dollars per month; draftsmen <br /> and computers , one hundred dollars per month each for the first year, <br /> one hundred five dollars per month eaoh for the second year, and one <br /> hundred ten dollars per month each thereafter; instrument men one <br /> hundred dollars per month each for the first year, one hundred five <br /> dollars per month each for the second year, and one hundred ten dol- <br /> lars per month each thereafter; rodmen eighty-five dollars per month <br /> each for the first and second years , and ninety dollars per month <br /> each thereafter; ohainmen eighty dollars per month each for the first <br /> and second years, and eighty-five dollars per month each thereafter; <br /> axemen seventy-five dollars per month each for the first and second <br /> years , and eighty dollars per month each thereafter; stenographer <br /> sixty dollars per month for the first year, seventy--dollars per month <br /> for the second year, and seventy-five dollars per month thereafter; <br /> inspectors seventy-five dollars per month each for the first year, <br /> eighty-five dollars per month each for the second year, and ninety- <br /> five dollars per month each thereafter. For temporary assistants <br /> to said officer; draftsmen, ninety dollars per month each; computers , <br /> ninety dollars per month each; draftsmen and pomputers , one hundred <br /> dollars per month each. <br /> Section 2.
