` y ORDINANCA NO. 169 An ordinance defining and fixing the corporate limits of the city of Averett and setting forth the territory to be excluded from the corporate limits of said city, and declaring an emergency. WHARAAS, petitions having been heretofore duly filed with the city council of the city of Averett requesting that the city boundaries of the city of Averett be altered and changed, and that certain territory as set forth in said petitions be excluded from the corporate limits of said city, and requesting that the altering and changing of said boundaries and the excluding of the territory there-. from as set forth in said petitions be submitted to the qualified electors of the city of Averett at a special election to be called therefor, and WHr:RAAS, said petitions for excluding said territory from the boundaries of said city were sufficient and said proposition was duly and regularly submitted to the qualified electors of the city of . verett at an election held in the various election precincts of said city on the 16th day of November, 1915, and WHr.;RAAS, said proposition was duly adopted and approved by more than three-fifths of the electors voting at said election, NOW THARAFORA, THA CITY OF AVARATT DOTS ORDAIN: Section 1: That the following described territory be and it is hereby excluded from said city of r;verett, a municipal corpora- tion, and shall no longer be a part of said city, to-wit: Beginning at the point where the south line of section twenty-nine (29) , township twenty-nine :(29) north, range five (5) east W„M,, intersects the center line of the channel of the Snohomish River as said channel is defined by the harbor lines established December 23rd, 1910, by the United States Government; thence down stream following the center line of said Snohomish River channel to
