<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett is continuing to grow because of individuals who are willing to <br />lead, serve and work together to make a difference in their community; <br />And, the City of Everett recognizes that strong, compassionate and forward-thinking leadership <br />is essential to building a better future for all residents; <br />And, Leadership Snohomish County has provided transformative leadership programs that <br />foster collaboration across sectors and inspire action to meet the evolving needs of Snohomish <br />County communities for over twenty years; <br />And, the City of Everett proudly recognizes the outstanding work and dedication of Leadership <br />Snohomish County; <br />And, over 1,200 Snohomish County professionals will graduate from Leadership Snohomish <br />County programs this year, expanding the region’s network of skilled leaders and strengthening <br />our communities through civic engagement and collaboration; <br />And, Leadership Snohomish County will undertake the recognition of the many contributions <br />from our community leaders and will coordinate a leadership service opportunity on this day. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, I, Cassie Franklin, Mayor of the City of Everett, do hereby <br />proclaim October 14, 2025 as <br /> “Leadership Day” <br />and encourage all residents to celebrate the vital role that strong, compassionate leadership <br />plays in shaping a resilient community. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Signed this 15th day of September 2025. <br />___________________________ Mayor Cassie Franklin City of Everett
