Division 1 — Waste Management. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PRODUCT OPTIONS <br />A. Products specified by reference standards or by description only: Use any product meeting those standards or <br />description. <br />B. Products Specified by naming one or more manufacturers with a provision for substitutions: Submit a request <br />for substitution for any manufacturer not named. <br />C. Products specified by naming one or more manufacturers without provision for substitutions: Submit product <br />I <br />from named manufacturer. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 SUBSTITUTION PROCEDURES <br />A. During bidding, requests for approved equal or substitutions, clarification of specifications, or protest of <br />specifications shall be received by Architect, as noted herein, by submitting the substitution request to the <br />Architect via email. Requests received after that time/day will not be considered. <br />1. Architect contact: Mitch Kent. Include completed substitution request form included in these specifications. <br />3. If proposed substitution is approved, such approvals will be set forth in an Addendum. Bidders shall not <br />rely upon approvals made in any other manner <br />4. Substitution submitted electronically must be in the following format to be considered: <br />a. The subject line of the email containing the substitution request must include the project name as well <br />as the referenced Specification Section name and Section number. <br />b. Only one file and one substitution request may be attached to each email. <br />C. The supporting information and the substitution request form must be combined into one file. <br />d.
