Description of Date(s): 9/5/2023 <br /> Violation and codes <br /> violated: (Notice(s) A Corrective Action Notice was issued on 9/5/2023 with a compliance <br /> of Violation and/or date of 3/5/2024. <br /> other enforcement <br /> document(s) issued The structure's interior and upper levels consist of unpermitted <br /> are attached to this alterations including but not limited to: sheetrock removed revealing <br /> Agreement) open exposed interior wood studs, removed bathroom fixtures, <br /> exposed electrical wiring, with an interior stairway replacement <br /> connecting to the upper level. The property south exterior porch <br /> exhibits an unpermitted support post attached to the property <br /> structure. <br /> The presence of work without permits on the property and within the <br /> structure, renders the entire structure unlawful as defined by the <br /> International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) 111.1.4, in violation <br /> of IPMC 109.1 and the International Residential Code (IRC) R105.1, <br /> which read: <br /> EMC Provision(s) Violated: <br /> IPMC 111.1.4 Unlawful structure. <br /> An unlawful structure is one found in whole or in part to be occupied by <br /> more persons than permitted under this code, or was erected, altered, <br /> or occupied contrary to law. <br /> IPMC 109.1 Unlawful acts. <br /> It shall be unlawful for a person,firm or corporation to be in conflict <br /> with or in violation of any of the provisions of this code. <br /> IRC R105.1 Required. <br /> Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, <br /> repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or <br /> structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or <br /> replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the <br /> installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such <br /> work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and <br /> obtain the required permit <br /> Corrective Action(s) By September 16, 2026 <br /> Required and <br /> Compliance • Submit complete permit applications to City of Everett Permit <br /> Schedule for Services for all the necessary and required permits to correct all <br /> Page 2 of 7 <br />
