Preliminary cutsheets were <br />provided by the owner that served as the design criteria for the design. The scope of these <br />structural calculations is limited to the footings, posts, beam stubs, hangers, new beams, new <br />angles, and the associated connections. The components of the crane include the hoist, bridge <br />beams, and runway beams. These items and the connection to the crane frame are the <br />responsibility of the crane manufacturers and are to be coordinated with the structural engineer <br />prior to fabrication. At that time, crane loading assumptions will also be double checked. The frame <br />has (6) posts, (4) of which are supported by footings. The other (2) are supported by hangers that <br />hang from the bottom of existing structure. These existing elements were checked as part of this <br />design. <br />A02 <br />
