I am the planner <br /> conducting the Planning review for this application; please note the following comments are not a thorough plan check <br /> review and they may only address larger zoning compliance points and the submittal checklist. Additional comments <br /> may be provided by the Building Reviewer for your application; please utilize the Online Permitting Portal to check on <br /> the status of other reviewers. <br /> Unfortunately, Planning cannot further review and/or approve your permit submittal until the following has been <br /> addressed: <br /> • Dimensional information is required on the sign drawings per the Sign Permit Checklist: <br /> II. ELEVATION DRAWING REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • Freestanding signs: height, dimensions and sign area of all proposed and existing signs draw <br /> scale. <br /> • Wall signs: dimensions and facade area for the facade of the particular business or entity foi <br /> the sign permit is being applied. <br /> • Projecting signs: the dimensions of the sign, its projection from the building, and vertical cle <br /> above grade. <br /> 0 <br /> o Please revise the elevation drawings to include dimensional information about the square footage of the <br /> sign size and area of the facade. All but one sign exceeds 48sf, so it cannot be approved unless the <br /> building facade area is provided to demonstrate compliance with EMC 19.36.040. Please note that per <br /> Sign Category A regulations, any sign exceeding 48sf is limited to 15%of the area of the building facade <br /> up to a maximum of 300sf. Please include square footages of the sign areas in addition to the <br /> dimensional information. I've included a markup of the 15Y-review plans with the proposed sign areas in <br /> square feet. <br /> Resubmittal instructions are outlined here; please submit an online version of the revised documents/plans.
