Ref Plan <br />Check number: B2203-001. Reviewer: Drew Martin. <br />1. The Upper Framing Plan on Sheet S2.1 appears to have multiple new posts that are not <br />specified, including but not limited to two new interior headers, the north exterior wall, and <br />the new Upper Level addition. All framing sizes should be specified. See IBC Section <br />R1603. 1. <br />We have called out these headers on plan, as well as showing the associated <br />posts. Please refer revised structural drawings. Note posts not called directly on <br />plan are (2) 2x Stud minimum per framing plan note 5. <br />2. The exterior decks should be constructed of preservative -treated or naturally -durable <br />materials per Section R507.2. 1. The construction drawings should specify coating cuts, <br />notches, and holes in preservative -treated wood with a treatment complying with A WPA <br />M4. See Section R317. 1.1 <br />A note calling out pressure treated framing and galvanized connectors have been <br />called out. A note referring to these coating requirements is also provided on plan. <br />Please refer to the structural drawings. <br />3. The intermediate stairway landing for the new deck should be provided with lateral <br />bracing for stability.
