The project includes work on the exterior envelope of the building. The RCW 64.55 form <br /> should be completed and submitted with the application. Additional documentation as required <br /> by the form should be submitted for review. <br /> 2. Sheet CS1.00 lists the Construction Type as "IV-A". The building is anticipated to be Type"V- <br /> A". See IBC Table 601. <br /> 3. The drawings should specify if the building is sprinklered or non-sprinklered. See IBC Sections <br /> 107.2.1 and 903. <br /> 4. Roof Type "W1103" references listing "GA RC 2602"and specifies insulation directly above the <br /> GWB. This listing does not include insulation. Insulation is not permitted as shown per the GA <br /> notes. A revised tested assembly with the required insulation should be specified. See IBC <br /> Section 703.2. <br /> 5. The construction drawings should include ceiling plans. It is anticipated that the work requires <br /> the replacement of exhaust fans. Bath fans may include radiation dampers per IBC Section <br /> 717.6.2. Other ducts that cannot include dampers, including kitchen hoods, are required to be <br /> located in fire-rated chases or soffits below the horizontal assemblies. Details should be <br /> included. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> 6. The ceiling plans should specify fire alarms. See IBC Sections 107.2.1 and 907.2.10.2. <br /> 7. Details for membrane penetrations should be included in the drawings. See IBC Sections 714.4 <br /> and 714.5. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. The project includes repair of damaged structure including but not limited to the floor, bearing <br /> walls, and roof including the trusses. Structural drawings signed by a professional engineer <br /> licensed in the state of Washington are required. Calculations substantiating the repairs should <br /> be included in the structural design package.
