The "Y" cut at the head of the window is per manufacturer installation instructions to provide <br /> positive lap over-the-head flashing. An additional piece of WRB has been installed over the "Y" cut to provide <br /> additional protection with a positive lap-over cut. This exceeds the standard set by the manufacturer and provides <br /> additional protection.
