The decks were constructed with 2x8 joists, 4x10 beams, 4x4 posts and 12"x12"post <br /> base footings. <br /> Based on my calculations the deck framing is adequate for the spans and code level loads. The 12"x12" <br /> adjustable pier block footings are adequate for all for the supports except the interior center post. This <br /> post receives twice the load of all the other posts and will need a 2nd pier block installed to prevent <br /> differential settlement between the other posts.
