For permits to be issued,we require either a state-licensed contractor with an active city of Everett business license OR the owner to be listed as the contractor. I've attached an email exchange I had with the company hired to perform the work and they do not want to proceed with obtaining a state license. I spoke with my supervisor and confirmed we would allow this permit to be issued with an owner acting as a contractor, even though this is a sign in the public right-of-way. If you would like to proceed with owner Delta Neighborhood Association listed as the contractor, please let me know and I can continue with processing the permit. Otherwise, if you do not want to have owner listed as the contractor,you will need to find a licensed contractor to be listed on the permit. Please let me know your preference and I can continue processing your application once I hear back. Take care,
