Contractor agrees to fully execute the Work described in the Contract Documents and reasonably inferable by <br /> Contractor as required to produce the result intended by the Contract Documents. Contractor is responsible for, and <br /> shall have sole control of the construction methods, sequences, and coordination of the Work, unless expressly stated <br /> to the contrary. <br /> Commencement of Work. Owner warrants that the structures on which Contractor is to work are in sound condition and <br /> capable of withstanding normal activities of construction, equipment, and operations. Contractor's commencement of <br /> the work indicates only that the surface appears satisfactory to Contractor for the attachment of roofing, siding, or <br /> window materials. Contractor is not responsible for the construction, undulations, or structural sufficiency of any <br /> related products or surfaces that may be affected during normal construction activities. This includes but is not limited <br /> to interior drywall damage, stucco dislodging or falling off, decking or rafter cracks or breaks, soffit overhang damage or <br /> other damage that does not relate to roofing and could not be easily identified during normal working activity. <br /> Driveways. Valentine Roofing and its suppliers are in no way liable for any damage to driveways. This contract serves as <br /> a release of liability for damage to driveways. <br /> Mold. Customer agrees to release Valentine Roofing from any and all mold remediation related to their home and attic. <br /> Marketing/Advertising. Homeowner/building owner will allow Contractor to utilize photos and/or video of the home <br /> where services will be/have been provided in print and/or digital marketing. <br /> NOTICE TO CUSTOMER <br /> This contractor is registered with the state of Washington, registration no 604-983-544 /VALENRL781 RW, and has <br /> posted with the state a bond or deposit of$12,000.00 for the purpose of satisfying claims against the contractor for <br /> breach of contract including negligent or improper work in the conduct of the contractor's business. The expiration date <br /> of this contractor's registration is Dec 16, 2026. <br /> THIS BOND OR DEPOSIT MIGHT NOT BE SUFFICIENT TO COVER A CLAIM THAT MIGHT ARISE FROM THE WORK DONE <br /> UNDER YOUR CONTRACT. <br /> This bond or deposit is not for your exclusive use because it covers all work performed by this contractor.
