Quotation for RTI TO 11 Mod #6
July 15, 2009
Great Lakes Environmental Center, Inc.
739 Hastings St., Traverse City, MI 49686
Phone: 231-941-2230; Fax: 231-941-2240; www.glec.com

The following assumptions were used in the preparation of this quotation:
1. Sample bottles, with preservatives, where applicable, and filtration supplies for chlorophyll analysis,
will be provided by GLEC. To request bottles and supplies, please send an email to Ben Cook
(bcook@glec.com), Charlotte Groleau (cgroleau@glec.com) and Michelle Moore
(mmoore@glec.com).
2. Samples must be transported in an insulated cooler on ice. Chlorophyll filtration supplies will be
provided to enable field filtrations. Filters should be placed in foil to block light, in a waterproof zip
top or whirl pak bag and stored frozen until transport to lab on ice with the other samples. Chlorophyll
samples must be received within two weeks of collection. Please notify Ben Cook (bcook@glec.com),
Charlotte Groleau (cgroleau@glec.com) and Michelle Moore (mmoore@glec.com) of day/time to
expect delivery.
3. Prices include costs for quality control (QC) samples (e.g., laboratory reagent blanks, duplicate
samples, controls), which will be analyzed at the frequency specified in the applicable GLEC Standard
Operating Procedure. Results for QC samples can be reported for an additional cost.
4. Prices assume a 25-business day turn-around time (from date of sample receipt) for report delivery.
