Project summary statement: The Powder Mill Gulch Corrective Action involves the investigation and cleanup of trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination in groundwater and surface water at the Boeing Everett site. The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) oversees the cleanup, which includes implementing engineering controls, such as recirculation channels and extraction wells, to manage groundwater flow and remove contaminated water. The objective is to reduce TCE concentrations in the Powder Mill Gulch plume and meet state cleanup levels for the environment.
