If one of the fixtures includes a 3- compartment sink,then we will require plumbing plan review, according to our plumbing permit submittal checklist, linked here: https://www.everettwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/38667. If there was no 3-compartment sink affected by the work that was done,then no plan review is required and the permit can be approved same-day if we have all required information on the application. If plan review is required,we estimate about 1-2 weeks for review. Once the permit is approved, paid for, and issued,then an inspection is required. Most of the time, our plumbing inspectors are available the next business day, so you should not need to wait long for an inspection once the permit is obtained. Since the application lists the tenant as the contractor performing the work,we do require confirmation from the owner of the property, or their representative,that the tenant is allowed to perform the work described in the permit application.This confirmation can be an email or a typed letter on letterhead. hope this helps clarify our procedures.Thanks again for your patience.
