EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The data provided in this Drainage Report will be included as a part of the Stormwater Site Plan
and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). This additional technical information is
provided for the purpose of evaluating the proposed new development and to comply with the
requirements set by the Everett Municipal Code (14.28) and the 2019 Stormwater Management
Manual for Western Washington(SMMWW).
The project site is located approximately 290 ft east of Dakota Way on 100t' Street Southwest in
Everett, Washington, within City of Everett limits. The project site is approximately 0.44 acres
and has ground slopes that range from 2%to 8%to the south. There are no existing buildings on
the parcel. Swamp Creek passes through the southern portion of the property via an existing
enclosed pipe. The parcel is covered in lawn.
On-site soils in the area of development are consistent with Alderwood-Urban land complex. On-
site stormwater appears to sheet flow and infiltrate into the existing native vegetated areas.
The proposed project consists of construction of two single-family residences (SFR, 3,420 sf
w/overhang) with two asphalt driveways (2,535 sf)and two concrete parking areas (645 sf). The
proposed development will be located in the northern portion of the site. Stormwater runoff from
the proposed SFRs will use splash blocks, and stormwater from the proposed driveways will use
sheet flow dispersion.
Due to the type of soil on site, together with other Best Management Practices(BMP)used on this
proposed project, it is expected to meet the intent to provide both flow control and stormwater
treatment. For additional detail and information refer to the content and body of this report.
