The source of the funds for the project is CIP-1. Total cost for the <br />project is estimated at $125,000. <br /> <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br />The Animal Shelter Fire Sprinkler Distribution System is in need of repair. Facilities has made <br />numerous temporary repairs to keep the system functioning over the last couple of years, but in <br />order to maintain long term occupational and building function a major repair is needed. This <br />project will replace the main distribution pipeline for the fire sprinkler system that runs <br />throughout the building to supply the system with water in the case of a fire. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Improvement Project entitled “Animal Shelter Fire <br />Sprinkler Main Distribution Repair”, Fund 342, Program 046, to accumulate all costs for the <br />project. <br />
