The 1960’s era pump station transfers water to Reservoir #6 in pressure
zones 650 and 715, which serve the residents and industries within South Everett including
Boeing. The portion of the structure that housed the pump station electrical components was
undersized, resulting in a workspace which did not meet current building, worker safety,
electrical and seismic codes. In addition, the electrical equipment and systems within the pump
station needed to be replaced and upgraded.
The project has been completed, and all necessary replacements and upgrades have been
installed.

Recommendation (exact action requested of Council):
Adopt an Ordinance closing a Special Improvement Project entitled “Evergreen Pump Station
Upgrades” Fund 336, Program 007, as established by Ordinance No. 3850-21.

City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
