• ORDINARCA NO. An ordinance requiring the Averett Railway & rlectric Company, its successors or assigns, to pay a license fee upon each car in use upon the street railway operated and maintained under that certain franchise granted by the city of Averett by Ordinance No. 130 of said city, passed June lb, 1894, and entitled "An ordinan- ce granting the i'verett Railway t Alectric Company, its successors and assigns, a franchise to build and operate street railways in the city of Averett, Snohomish County, Washington" , fixing the amount of such license fee, providing for the issuance of a license, prohibiting any person, firm or corporation operating cars on said street railway unless such license fee is paid, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof. T T +' CITY OF I'Vi+;RI TT DOS ORDAIN: Section 1: That the Averett Railway lc .i lectric Company, its successors or assigns , be, and it is hereby required to pay to the city of r;verett an annual license fee of ten ($10.00) dollars for each car used upon the street railways maintained and operated under and pursuant to that certain franchise granted by the city of .verett by Ordinance No. 130 of said city, and entitled as above set forth. Section 2: Said license fee shall be paid to the city treasurer of the city of Averett on or before the first day of October, 1915, and on or before the first day of October of each year thereafter, during the continuance of said franchise, and upon the payment of said fee the city clerk shall issue to the person, firm or corporation paying such fee a license to operate and use upon said street railways for the year for which such license fee is paid the number of cars for which suck license fee is paid.
