EXHIBIT 2
Traffic Analysis Requirements
The following elements shall be included in the required traffic analysis unless otherwise
determined by the City Engineer:
1. The characteristics of the development with respect to the transportation system.
2. The trip general characteristics of the development by mode.
3. The projected trip distribution expected for the site and how this trip distribution was
developed.
4. The projected trip assignment for the site by mode for daily and peak hour conditions.
5. The anticipated effects of this incremental increase in trips.
6. 1 he development of any justification for an appropriate design year. The design year shall
allow for the completion of the total development and reaching its full level of usage. It
shall also allow for the full impact of other proposed developments to be reached. As a
minimum it should allow for at least a five-year horizon.
7. Other projected trip growth for the study area.
8. The projected trip assignment for the total anticipated growth in the study area.
9. The anticipated affect of this total projected increase in trips.
10. An analysis and recommended mitigation of the affects of this projected total increase in
trips.
11. An analysis and mitigation of safety related impacts associated with the projected total
increase in trips.
12. An analysis and mitigation of sight distance and/or other geometric design problems
encountered by the traffic generated by the development.
13. An analysis and mitigation of pedestrian and bicycle related concerns.
14. An analysis and mitigation of transit related concerns.
15. An analysis and mitigation of school transportation.
1
