NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVA ETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That the city counc it of the city of Everett hereby
<br /> proposes a system or plan for the acquiring of the water system now
<br /> used for the purpose of supplying the city of Everett and the in-
<br /> habitants thereof with water, and all property and rights of every
<br /> kind used in connection with said water system as a part thereof,
<br /> for the purpose of furnishing and supplying said city of Everett and
<br /> the inhabitants thereof with water, said system or plan being as
<br /> follows, to-wit:
<br /> That the said city of Everett acquire the water system now
<br /> used for the purpose of supplying the said city of Everett and the
<br /> inhabitants thereof with water, including the lands , water, water
<br /> rights , reservoirs ,
<br /> g , pipes , pumps, motors, boilers , buildings, struct-
<br /> ures , machinery, meters, hydrants , franchises, easements, grants,
<br /> rights and privileges , and all other property whether real or per-
<br /> sonal, corporeal or incorporeal, used in connection with said water
<br /> system or forming a part thereof, by purchase or condemnation, from
<br /> the Everett Railway, Light & Water Company, a corporation, and all
<br /> persons, associations, and corporations having any right, title,
<br /> interest or estate in and to said property, or any part thereof, at
<br /> the best obtainable price, not in any event to exceed the sum of
<br /> one million one hundred thousand 41,100,000) dollars, all to be paid
<br /> for as in this ordinance hereinafter set forth.
<br /> Section 2: That the city council of the city of Everett
<br /> does hereby specify and adopt < the system or plan described in
<br /> this ordinance for acquiring the water system now used for supplying
<br /> the said city and the inhabitants thereof with water, and the
<br /> method for raising funds for paying therefor; that the estimated
<br /> cost of said proposed system or plan is the sum of one million one
<br /> hundred thousand ($k1,100,000) dollars , including all engineering
<br /> and legal expenses necessarily to be incurred in acquiring the same,
<br /> by either purchase or condemnation, as the same is described in
<br />
