ORDINANCE NO. 2497-00 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the schedule of plan review and permit fees <br /> relating to private work on public right-of-way and other private/public <br /> property coordination services perfonned by the City of Everett, <br /> amending Ordinance No. 921-83 (Chapter 13.80 EMC) <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 921-83 was adopted on January 26, 1983, establishing a <br /> schedule of plan review and permit fees relating to private work on public right-of-way <br /> and other private/public property coordination services performed by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council finds that fees need to be charged to recover costs <br /> relating to staff time and overhead to review plans, issue permits and field-inpsect work <br /> undertaken by contractors and individuals in the public right—of-way and on other <br /> private/public property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the listing of Puget Sound Chinook salmon and Bull Trout requires that the <br /> City increase its construction inspection efforts to ensure compliance with provisions of <br /> the Endangered Species Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the fees established hereafter are <br /> reasonably related to the costs of issuing permits and providing review and inspection <br /> services; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 921-83 (Chapter 13.80 EMC) which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> Application Fee <br /> A$20 fee is required at the time of permit application. The application <br /> fee is credited to the total fee amount(s) noted below. <br /> Payment <br /> Permit Activity Balance Due Fee <br /> Review Erosion Control Plans <br /> Commercial/Industrial On Plan Approval $ 100 <br /> Subdivision On Plan Approval $ 100 +$10/lot <br /> Short Subdivision On Plan Approval $ 50 +$10/lot <br />
