Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> ARCHITECTURAL <br /> 1. Electric vehicle charging locations and infrastructure requirements should be <br /> shown on the plans. This appears to be missing on Sheet A1.1. Please note that <br /> the State raised the requirement from 5%to 10% in 2021. IBC 429. <br /> STRUCTURAL <br /> 1. Please indicate the Basic Seismic Force Resisting Systems, seismic coefficient <br /> in each direction, and R-factors used as this information appears to be missing <br /> from the construction documents. IBC 1603.1.5. <br /> 2. On the dead load weight takeoff, it appears that roof weight take-off does <br /> not include dead load weight for PV panel allowances. It is also unclear from <br /> the gravity design calculations if the PV panel allowance has been included in <br /> the design of the roof framing. Per WSEC C411.7,such allowances are required <br /> per the Solar Readiness provisions and should be included in the structural <br /> design of gravity framing and lateral force resisting system. Please verify and <br /> update framing system designs where required. WSEC 411.7. <br /> 3. The proposed steel brace frames are identified as Ordinary Steel <br /> PERMIT SERVICES Concentrically Braced Frames according to the permit calculations. Brace <br /> member design provisions require the braces to meet the requirements of <br /> 3200 Cedar Street moderately ductile members, per AISC 341-16 Sec F1.5a. The proposed brace <br /> Everett,WA 98201 HSS 12 x12 x%on Sheet S3.3 does not appear to meet this requirement. Please <br /> O425.257.8810 verify and update brace configurations as required.
