Page 10 of 21 2.7 CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTED DELIVERABLES The awarded supplier will be responsible for the following: 1. Existing facility assessment report; 2. Site comparisons and parcel size analysis; 3. Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment for each site; 4. Space program requirements by function; 5. Conceptual layout alternatives; 6. Cost estimates and phasing strategy; 7. Recommendation report with preferred option; 8. Title VI Equity Analysis with completed public outreach for each location. 9. Consolidate all findings, comparative analysis, and stakeholder input into the final feasibility study, supported by site visuals and cost phasing. 2.8 CITY OF EVERETT RESPONSIBILITIES The City of Everett will provide the following: serve as the primary contact for the consultant. background and requirements. existing available data and reports to support analysis. coordinate review of consultant deliverables. Be responsive to edits to documents before they are finalized. 2.9 CHANGES IN THE SCOPE OF WORK The City reserves the right to add or delete similar services, such as follow-on reports or report updates, to this contract as necessary. In the event of a change, the City of Everett will provide the supplier with thirty (30) days' written notice of such change. In addition, the City of Everett reserves the right to make changes, additions to, or deductions from this Scope of Work, provided that they conform to the general scope of the contract. The Supplier will not affect any change without the prior written approval of the City. 2.10 WORK MADE FOR HIRE All Deliverables, in whole and in part, shall be deemed works made for hire of the City of Everett for all purposes of copyright law, and copyright shall belong solely to the City of Everett. To the extent that any such Deliverable does not qualify as a work for hire under applicable law, and to the extent that the Deliverable includes materials subject to copyright, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right protection, Awarded Supplier agrees to assign, and hereby assigns, all right, title and interest in and to Deliverables, including without limitation all copyrights, inventions, patents, trade secrets, and other proprietary rights therein, including renewals thereof, to the City of Everett. 2.11 PAYMENT Within thirty (30) days after delivery, acceptance of the provided deliverable, and a properly prepared invoice, but not more often than once per month, the City of Everett will pay the supplier according to the rate(s) stated on the price sheet.
