<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled “Wiggums Hollow Playground <br />Repair”, Fund 354, Program 108, to accumulate project costs in the amount of $500,000. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to repair and replace City Park amenities. <br /> <br />B. The playground equipment at Wiggums Hollow Park was set on fire October 27,2025. <br /> <br />C. The City Council has recognized the need to replace the damaged equipment and playground <br />surfacing at Wiggums Hollow Park to bring the playground back to its intended functionality. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Wiggums Hollow Playground <br />Repair”, Fund 354, Program 108, to accumulate project costs in the amount of $500,000. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of the playground replacement is $500,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $500,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 108 “Wiggums <br />Hollow Playground Repair” project. <br /> <br />A.
