ORDINANCE NO. 2502-00 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "41st Street Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue", Fund 303, Program 024, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance 2259-97. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has substantially completed street and pedestrian improvements to 41st Street; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of a Public Works Trust Fund loan, WSDOT funds, and State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) funds to accomplish improvements programmed with this project; and WHEREAS, based on construction costs, additional funding and other improvements, there is a need to revise the existing ordinance; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 024, entitled "41st Street Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project, and repealing Ordinance 2259-97. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 024, for all expenses of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $ 1,317,754 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 024, "41st Street Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue" as follows:
