• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. -1 ,1 <br /> An ordinance creating the office of blacksmith and <br /> repair man in the ,Department of Public Works, prescribing his <br /> duties , fixing his compensation, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVr;P.ETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That from and after the first day of April, <br /> 1915, there shall be in the Department of Public Works, a blacksmith <br /> and repair man. It shall be the duty of such employee to perform <br /> the duties indicated by the name of his employment, and such other <br /> duties as the `roriuiiissioner of Public Works may authorize and direct. <br /> Section 2: That said blacksmith and repair man shall <br /> receive as full compensation for his services the sum of three <br /> ($3.00) dollars per day. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> ma r' . <br /> Passed APR 271915 <br /> Attest <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Published APR 2�' 1915 <br />
