ORDINANCE NO. 1646 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Fulton Street from Everett Avenue to Twenty-first Street, by clearing, grubbing, grading, construction of curbs , gutters, cross walks, cement walks, complete drainage system, installation of fire hydrants , and doing such other work as may be necessary in con- nection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 2201 of the city of Everett, creating a local improvement district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of "Payment by bonds". THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Fulton Street from Everett Avenue to Tenty-first Street be improved by clearing, grubbing, grading, con«- struction of gutters, crosswalks, cement walks, complete drainage • system, installation of fire hydrants, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for the cost and expense of such improvement.
