City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 00 1113 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids/proposals for the Everett 36th Street CSO Storage Improvements will be received at the City Clerk, 1st Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. At this appointed time, all bids/proposals will be opened and read aloud publicly via live streaming, or bidders may attend the bid opening in person at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 9E, Everett, WA 98201. The link to view the live streaming bid opening can be found at: https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $30,880,000, including sales tax. The project includes, but is not limited to, constructing a 1.8 million gallon combined sewer storage tank, including construction of the tank, site preparation, site grading, construction of associated facilities including but not limited to piping (48-inch to 18-inch diameter), pumps, electrical, C2 water system and site restoration, and performing all other work as required by the contract. The project site is located near the northwest corner of 36th Street and Smith Avenue in Everett WA on the vacant portion of 3600 Smith Avenue. An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled on site at 2701 36th Street, Everett, WA 98201. See Section 00 25 13. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the Bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the plan holders. Free-of-charge access to project bidding documents (plans, specifications, addenda, bidders list, and other documents, if any) is provided to bidders, subcontractors, and vendors at www.bxwa.com by clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e- mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. All bids/proposals must be made upon the City forms provided in the bidding documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid/proposal, all in accordance with the bidding documents. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond (and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond, as may be required in the bidding documents), on form(s) provided by the City, will be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities. Except as may be provided in the bidding documents, no bidder may withdraw its bid/proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof.
