City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />00 1113 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids/proposals for the Everett 36th Street CSO Storage <br />Improvements will be received at the City Clerk, 1st Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 <br />Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. At this <br />appointed time, all bids/proposals will be opened and read aloud publicly via live streaming, or <br />bidders may attend the bid opening in person at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 9E, Everett, WA 98201. <br />The link to view the live streaming bid opening can be found at: <br />https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. <br /> <br />The engineer’s estimate for this project is $30,880,000, including sales tax. <br /> <br />The project includes, but is not limited to, constructing a 1.8 million gallon combined sewer storage <br />tank, including construction of the tank, site preparation, site grading, construction of associated <br />facilities including but not limited to piping (48-inch to 18-inch diameter), pumps, electrical, C2 <br />water system and site restoration, and performing all other work as required by the contract. The <br />project site is located near the northwest corner of 36th Street and Smith Avenue in Everett WA <br />on the vacant portion of 3600 Smith Avenue. <br />An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled on site at 2701 36th Street, Everett, WA 98201. <br />See Section 00 25 13. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the Bid will be included in <br />an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the plan holders. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bidding documents (plans, specifications, addenda, bidders list, <br />and other documents, if any) is provided to bidders, subcontractors, and vendors at <br />www.bxwa.com by clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This <br />online plan room provides bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, <br />view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online <br />digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e- <br />mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders <br />List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to <br />periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders <br />Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or <br />registration. <br />All bids/proposals must be made upon the City forms provided in the bidding documents and must <br />be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than <br />five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid/proposal, all in accordance with the bidding <br />documents. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond (and a one hundred percent <br />(100%) payment bond, as may be required in the bidding documents), on form(s) provided by the <br />City, will be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive any irregularities or <br />informalities. Except as may be provided in the bidding documents, no bidder may withdraw its <br />bid/proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof.
