Central Control Unit <br />3 For NEMA controllers the Pedestrian CCU shall be a shelf mounted <br />4 unit recommended by the manufacturer of the push button stations. <br />5 <br />6 KEL 9-29.13(10)C NEMA CONTROLLER CABINETS.RTF <br />7 9-29.13(10)C NEMA Controller Cabinets <br />8 Section 9-29.13(10)C is supplemented with the following: <br />9 <br />10 Cabinet Construction <br />11 Construction shall be of 0.125-inch sheet aluminum (5052 alloy). Finish shall <br />12 be anodized color RAL 6012, Everett Green, or mill finish, as called for in the <br />13 Plans. The Contracting Agency will provide the paint color chip to the <br />14 contractor for color matching upon request. <br />15 <br />16 Generator Transfer Switch <br />17 A Generator Transfer Switch capable of switching power from a utility power <br />18 source to an external generator power source shall be installed.. <br />19 <br />20 Adaptor Box <br />21 The adaptor box shall be fabricated from .125-inch aluminum (5052 alloy), <br />22 with anodized finish color RAL 6012, Everett Green, or mill finish, as called <br />23 for in the Plans. The Contracting Agency will provide the paint color chip to <br />24 the contractor for color matching upon request. <br />25 <br />26 The Contractor shall verify foundation and cabinet dimensions and mounting <br />27 bolt patterns prior to submitting shop drawings for the adaptor box to the <br />28 Engineer. The shop drawings shall be submitted for approval 10 working <br />29 days in advance of fabrication. <br />30 <br />31 KEL 9-29.16 Housing.RTF <br />32 9-29.16 Vehicular Signal Heads, Displays and Housing <br />33 Section 9-29.16 is supplemented with the following: <br />34 <br />35 Backplates shall be constructed of anodized aluminum and be louvered. The 2-inch <br />36 retro reflective sheeting shall be applied in accordance with the manufacturers <br />37 recommendations. The application surface of the backplate shall be cleaned, <br />38 degreased with isopropyl alcohol and dried prior to application of the sheeting. <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 KEL 9-29.19 Pedestrian Push Buttons.RTF <br />42 9-29.19 Pedestrian Push Buttons <br />43 Section 9-29.19 is supplemented with the following: <br />44 <br />45 Accessible Pedestrian Station <br />46 The pushbutton stations and adapters shall be Forest Green in color. The sign shall <br />47 be 9 inch by 15 inch, option G (MUTCD R10-3e), when used in conjunction with a <br />48 countdown type pedestrian signal display, or MUTCD R10-25 (9 inch by 12 inch)
