The sign shall include a <br />2 frame adapter plate. <br />3 <br />4 A pole extender/adaptor, from the pushbutton station manufacturer, shall be utilized <br />5 when a pole extender/adaptor is required. <br />6 <br />7 Pedestrian pushbutton stations that are used in conjunction with a traffic signal shall <br />8 include a central control unit mounted in the traffic signal controller cabinet and be <br />9 compatible with emergency vehicle preemption. <br />10 <br />11 All manufacturer recommended setup equipment, required to program, adjust and <br />12 make operational the pedestrian pushbutton stations, shall be furnished with each <br />13 complete pushbutton system. <br />14 <br />15 The pedestrian pushbutton station shall be able to be programmed by laptop software <br />16 wireless remote configurator that allows the selection of options and programmable <br />17 messages. <br />18 <br />19 All pedestrian pushbutton station equipment shall be the same make or model from <br />20 one manufacturer. Each station shall be latest model, capable of wireless <br />21 communication for programming and data collection from a remote location. <br />22 <br />23 The contractor shall coordinate with the City of Everett Traffic Office through the <br />24 Engineer for site specific message following installation. <br />25 <br />26 Polara iNS and iNX Pedestrian push button stations are approved models. <br />27 <br />28 KEL 9-29.20 PEDESTRIAN SIGNALS.RTF <br />29 9-29.20 Pedestrian Signals <br />30 Section 9-29.20 is supplemented with the following: <br />31 <br />32 All pedestrian signal displays shall be the countdown type signal display as follows <br />33 and from the following manufacturer: <br />34 <br />35 Model: 430-6479-001X <br />36 <br />37 Manufacturer: Dialight Corp. <br />38 1501 Route 34 South <br />39 Farmingdale, NJ 07727 <br />40 http://www.dialight.com/ <br />41 <br />42 Pedestrian signals shall be the countdown LED type and in conformance with Section <br />43 9-29.20(1) of the Standard Specifications. Mounting type shall be as indicated in the <br />44 plans. <br />45 <br />46 The LED pedestrian traffic signal shall conform to all applicable ITE requirements and <br />47 be combination person/hand in side-by-side configuration. Both person and hand <br />48 symbols shall be filled in and not outlined with the LEDs. Colors shall be Portland <br />49 orange for the hand and lunar white for the person. <br />50
