RRFB PEDESTRIAN SAFETY October 31, 2025 <br />STATE FUND # HLP-PB25(004) <br />WO 3807 <br />Page 16 of 82 <br />1 F1-05.18.FR1.docx <br />2 Add the following new section: <br />3 <br />4 1-05.18 Record Drawings <br />5 (March 8, 2013 APWA GSP) <br />6 <br />7 The Contractor shall maintain one set of full size plans for Record Drawings, updated with <br />8 clear and accurate red-lined field revisions on a daily basis, and within 2 business days <br />9 after receipt of information that a change in Work has occurred. The Contractor shall not <br />10 conceal any work until the required information is recorded. <br />11 <br />12 This Record Drawing set shall be used for this purpose alone, shall be kept separate from <br />13 other Plan sheets, and shall be clearly marked as Record Drawings. These Record <br />14 Drawings shall be kept on site at the Contractors field office, and shall be available for <br />15 review by the Contracting Agency at all times. The Contractor shall bring the Record <br />16 Drawings to each progress meeting for review. <br />17 <br />18 The preparation and upkeep of the Record Drawings is to be the assigned responsibility <br />19 of a single, experienced, and qualified individual. The quality of the Record Drawings, in <br />20 terms of accuracy, clarity, and completeness, is to be adequate to allow the Contracting <br />21 Agency to modify the computer-aided drafting (CAD) Contract Drawings to produce a <br />22 complete set of Record Drawings for the Contracting Agency without further investigative <br />23 effort by the Contracting Agency. <br />24 <br />25 The Record Drawing markups shall document all changes in the Work, both concealed <br />26 and visible. Items that must be shown on the markups include but are not limited to: <br />27 <br />28 •Actual dimensions, arrangement, and materials used when different than shown in <br />29 the Plans. <br />30 •Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. <br />31 •Changes made by the Contractor. <br />32 •Accurate locations of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water mains and other water <br />33 appurtenances, structures, conduits, light standards, vaults, width of roadways, <br />34 sidewalks, landscaping areas, building footprints, channelization and pavement <br />35 markings, etc. Include pipe invert elevations, top of castings (manholes, inlets, <br />36 etc.). <br />37 <br />38 If the Contract calls for the Contracting Agency to do all surveying and staking, the <br />39 Contracting Agency will provide the elevations at the tolerances the Contracting Agency <br />40 requires for the Record Drawings. <br />41 <br />42 When the Contract calls for the Contractor to do the surveying/staking, the applicable <br />43 tolerance limits include, but are not limited to the following: <br />Vertical Horizontal <br />As-built sanitary & storm invert and grate <br />elevations <br />– 0.01 foot – 0.01 foot <br />As-built monumentation – 0.001 foot – 0.001 foot <br />As-built waterlines, inverts, valves, <br />hydrants <br />– 0.10 foot – 0.10 foot <br />As-built ponds/swales/water features – 0.10 foot – 0.10 foot
