RRFB PEDESTRIAN SAFETY October 31, 2025 <br />STATE FUND # HLP-PB25(004) <br />WO 3807 <br />Page 35 of 82 <br />1 COE 1-07.18(5)J.rtf <br />2 1-07.18(5)J Pollution Liability <br />3 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br />4 <br />5 The Contractor shall provide a Contractors Pollution Liability policy, providing coverage for <br />6 claims involving bodily injury, property damage (including loss of use of tangible property that <br />7 has not been physically injured), cleanup costs, remediation, disposal or other handling of <br />8 pollutants, including costs and expenses incurred in the investigation, defense, or settlement <br />9 of claims, arising out of any one or more of the following: <br />10 1. Contractors operations related to this project. <br />11 2. Remediation, abatement, repair, maintenance or other work with lead-based paint or <br />12 materials containing asbestos. <br />13 3. Transportation of hazardous materials away from any site related to this project. <br />14 <br />15 All entities listed under 1-07.18(2) of these Special Provisions shall be named by <br />16 endorsement as additional insureds on the Contractors Pollution Liability insurance policy. <br />17 <br />18 Such Pollution Liability policy shall provide the following minimum limits: <br />19 *** $2,000,000 *** each loss and annual aggregate <br />20 <br />21 1-07.23.GR1 <br />22 Public Convenience and Safety <br />23 <br />24 1-07.23(1).GR1 <br />25 Construction Under Traffic <br />26 <br />27 1-07.23(1).INST1.GR1 <br />28 Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following: <br />29 <br />30 F1-07.23(1).OPT5.FR1.docx <br />31 (October 3, 2022) <br />32 Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are subject to the following restrictions: <br />33 <br />34 *** No traffic control setup allowed in the southbound lanes of the E Marine View <br />35 Dr and Summit Ave location between 3 PM and 6 PM, Monday through <br />36 Friday. No general time of day restriction for northbound lanes of the E Marine <br />37 View Dr and Summit Ave location. No general time of day restriction for either <br />38 direction of the E Marine View Dr and 10th St location. No general time of day <br />39 restriction for the Sievers-Duecy Blvd location *** <br />40 <br />41 If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the <br />42 Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor in <br />43 writing of any change in the closure hours. Exceptions to these restrictions may be <br />44 considered by the Engineer on a case-by-case basis following a written request by <br />45 the Contractor. <br />46 <br />47 Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are not allowed on any of the following: <br />48 <br />49 1.
