It <br />26 shall include all curb gutters and sidewalks as shown in the plans <br />27 <br />28 If discrepancies are discovered in the ground elevations which will materially affect the <br />29 quantities of earthwork, the original computations of earthwork quantities will be adjusted <br />30 accordingly. <br />31 <br />32 Earthwork quantities will be computed, either manually or by means of electronic data <br />33 processing equipment, by use of the average end area method. <br />34 <br />35 Roadway excavation including haul will be measured by the cubic yard. Roadway <br />36 excavation will be measured in its original position by cross-sectioning. There will be no <br />37 adjustment in measurement for embankment for subsidence. Verification of existing <br />38 utilities depths by potholing prior to excavation will be paid under Roadway Excavation <br />39 Incl.
