RRFB PEDESTRIAN SAFETY October 31, 2025 <br />STATE FUND # HLP-PB25(004) <br />WO 3807 <br />Page 57 of 82 <br />1 (******) <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 Curb Ramp Type __, per each. <br />5 <br />6 The unit Contract price per each for Curb Ramp Type __ shall be full pay for <br />7 construction of the curb ramp as specified, including the cast-in-place detectable <br />8 warning surface and detectable directional strip. <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 3807 KEL 8-20.3(13)C LUMINAIRES.docx <br />12 8-20.3(13) Illumination Systems <br />13 <br />14 Luminaires <br />15 Section 8-20.3(13)C is supplemented with the following: <br />16 <br />17 Unless otherwise noted, luminaires in the project will be furnished and installed by the <br />18 Contractor. <br />19 <br />20 Street Luminaires (LED) <br />21 <br />22 Street Luminaires shall be an integral unit with the specified optical performance, and <br />23 mechanical features that facilitate installation and maintenance. The fixture shall have a full <br />24 size terminal block and quick electrical disconnects to assure easy installation, leveling, and <br />25 maintenance access. A flush house-side shield plate shall be factory supplied and installed if <br />26 required by the plans. <br />27 <br />28 The housing shall be cast aluminum with a universal 4 bolt slipfitter for a two inch nominal <br />29 mounting tenon. The unit shall have cooling fins to make for a long-life, efficient LED unit. <br />30 Electrical components shall be accessible without tools and mounted on or behind a removable <br />31 power door. The power door shall feature quick electrical disconnects to the terminal board <br />32 and LED board. The luminaire shall be provided with a ANSI seven pin (PCR7) photocell <br />33 receptacle. <br />34 <br />35 Each luminaire shall be provided with a shorting cap. <br />36 <br />37 One long life photocell compatible with the seven pin (PCR7) receptacle shall be provided for <br />38 each service cabinet. The following photocells are pre-approved for use: <br />39 <br />40 Ripley Lighting Controls Long Life II 6390LL-BK-2.8 <br />41 Sun-Tech TRS-2-8190 <br />42 Dark to Light DLL Elite 127-2.8 IR <br />43 <br />44 The LED nominal correlated color temperature shall be 4000”K +/- 200”K with a CRI ≥ 70. The <br />45 light emitting diodes shall be high flux, high power white LED producing a minimum of 90% of <br />46 initial intensity at 70,000 hours of life. The LEDs shall provide a copy of their test documentation <br />47 to the Engineer for the IES LM-80 testing procedure. The LEDs shall be mercury and lead free. <br />48 Nominal lumen efficacy shall exceed 108 lumens/W. <br />49 <br />50 Individual micro-lens optics shall produce IES Type 2 or Type 3 full cutoff distributions with 0% <br />51 lumens above 90” nadir. The power supply shall have less than 20% total harmonic distortion
