Tape shall be detectable, ‰ minimum width and <br />15 printed with sequential footage markings. Pull strength shall be 900lbs minimum. <br />16 <br />17 Conduit Sealing <br />18 Mechanical plugs for cabinet conduit sealing shall be one of the following: <br />19 <br />20 1. Tyco Electronics - TDUX <br />21 2. Jackmoon Triplex Duct Plugs <br />22 3. O-Z Gedney Conduit Sealing Bushings <br />23 <br />24 The mechanical plug shall withstand a minimum of 5 psi of pressure. <br />25 <br />26 9-29.1(2) Rigid Metal Conduit Fittings and Appurtenances <br />27 Section 9-29.1(2) is supplemented with the following: <br />28 <br />29 Conduit Coatings <br />30 Electroplated couplings are not allowed. <br />31 <br />32 Surface Mounting Conduit Attachment Components <br />33 Channel supports and all fastening hardware components shall be Type 304 <br />34 stainless steel. Conduit clamps shall be one piece, two bolt units with lock <br />35 washers. <br />36 <br />37 9-29.1(4) Non-Metallic Conduit <br />38 Section 9-29.1(4) is supplemented with the following: <br />39 <br />40 PVC conduit shall be either Schedule 40 or Schedule 80, as indicated on the plans. <br />41 Schedule 80 shall be required for all street crossings and for the bottom 10’ of pole <br />42 risers. Schedule 80 shall be used for all conduits that are installed using Directional <br />43 Bore method. Bell end bushings shall be installed on all conduit ends. Conduit runs, <br />44 without innerduct, installed using directional boring method shall be Schedule 80 high <br />45 density polyethylene (HDPE) if the runs enter/cross the traveled way or shoulder, and <br />46 Schedule 40 HPDE for runs that do not enter or cross the traveled way or shoulder. <br />47 <br />48 CNH 8-20.2(9-29.2) Junction Box.RTF <br />49
