All <br />2 notifications will be made verbally with a confirming letter. <br />3 <br />4 Upon receipt of the equipment, a visual inspection will be made as follows: <br />5 1. Verify delivery of equipment ordered. <br />6 2. Record serial numbers <br />7 3. Record software type delivered. <br />8 4. Check for physical damage. <br />9 5. Check workmanship (painting, welding, door operation, mechanical <br />10 integrity, etc.) <br />11 <br />12 Electrical testing of the equipment will be as follows: <br />13 <br />14 A) Cabinet Assembly <br />15 1. Wiring, racks, and harnesses. <br />16 2. Power supply (where applicable). <br />17 3. Power distribution panel. <br />18 4. Flashers and flash transfer relays. <br />19 5. Display/maintenance panel. <br />20 6. Load switches. <br />21 7. Detectors. <br />22 8. Preemption. <br />23 9. Run with all equipment under full load for 120 hours. <br />24 10. Run with all equipment under full load with AC power varying from 95 to <br />25 135 volts. <br />26 B) Controller <br />27 1. Power supply. <br />28 2. Switches and controls. <br />29 3. Inputs and outputs from test panel. <br />30 4. Phase sequence and rotation (where applicable.) <br />31 5. Timing limits. <br />32 6. Internal time base (where applicable). <br />33 7. Protected/permissive left-turn (where applicable). <br />34 8. Overlaps (where applicable). <br />35 C) Conflict Monitor <br />36 1. Programming. <br />37 2. Threshold of operation. <br />38 D) Telemetry and Communication Hardware <br />39 1. Switch tested with controller. <br />40 <br />41 Acceptance of equipment will be made upon completion of testing. Testing of <br />42 controller, cabinet, and auxiliary signal equipment will require a minimum of 15 <br />43 working days from the time a complete cabinet and all Contractor supplied auxiliary <br />44 equipment are delivered to the City.
