<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. _4154-26_____ <br /> <br />An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 4010-24 entitled, “Walter E. Hall Park Community Connections <br />Path”, Fund 354, Program 094, as previously amended, to accumulate all costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett residents and visitors with open <br />recreation spaces. <br /> <br />C. The City recognizes the need to improve neighborhood walkability and encourage non-motorized <br />forms of transportation. <br /> <br />D. The City Council recognizes Ordinance 4010-24 was established as Fund 354, Program 094 entitled <br />“Walter E. Hall Park Community Connections Path” to accumulate all costs for the project. <br /> <br />E. Ordinance 4010-24 was amended by Ordinance 4116-25. However, Ordinance 4116-25 contained <br />an incorrect appropriation amount. The purpose of this ordinance is to fix the error. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 4010-24, as amended by Ordinance 4116-25, which reads as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The sum of $523,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 094, “Walter E. Hall Park <br />Community Connections Path” as follows: <br /> <br />A. Use of Funds <br />Design $ 89,496 <br />Construction Costs $433,504 <br />Total $523,000 <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />Community Development Block Grant $430,000 <br />Fund 145 – Street and Alley Vacation Funds $ 78,000 <br />AARP Community Challenge Grant $ 15,000 <br />Total $523,000 <br />
