' <br /> 3 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. - 1636 <br /> An ordinance providing for the transfer of five hundred <br /> fifty dollars from the Street Department Fund to the Fire Department <br /> Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Safety sold four horses in <br /> the Fire Department to the Commissioner of public Works for the <br /> Street Department, for the sum of five hundred fifty dollars, and <br /> WHEREAS, it was agreed that said sum should be transferred <br /> from the Street Department Fund to the Fire Department Fund, <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVE TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That it is hereby authorized and directed that the <br /> sum of five hundred fifty dollars be transferred from the Street <br /> Department Fund to the Fire Department Fund. <br /> Section 2: That ,the City Clerk and City Treasurer be and they <br /> are hereby authorized and directed to make such entries and records <br /> necessary to effect such transfer. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Aollekick <br /> Passed JAN 26 1915 Mayor. <br /> Attes 1-___Z7 <br /> t <br /> ty C er <br /> Published JAN 23 1915 <br />
