19.54.020 Applicability <br />Inclusionary housing requirements shall apply to new residential development under this <br />chapter within the area indicated in Map 54-1. <br />Map 54-1 <br /> <br />19.54.030 Exemptions and reductions. <br />A. Inclusionary zoning requirements under this section are waived for: <br />1. Projects resulting in fewer than six dwelling units. <br />2. Projects subject to a development agreement. <br />B. Inclusionary zoning requirements under this section, including the alternative compliance fee <br />in lieu, shall be reduced by half for projects resulting in at least six but no more than fifteen <br />dwelling units. <br />19.54.040 Requirements. <br />A. For dwelling units intended for rent: <br />1. At least twenty percent of the dwelling units must be affordable to households whose <br />income is at or below eighty percent of the median household income for Snohomish <br />County, adjusted for household size; and <br />2. Of the affordable dwelling units required under subsection (A)(1), at least one half <br />must be affordable to households whose income is at or below sixty percent of the <br />median household income for Snohomish County, adjusted for household size; <br />B.
