Any additional team members, if on duty would charge against the bank. <br />All release time must be in compliance with 10.3.1. <br /> <br />10.2.4 Not charged against a leave bank will be the release of Association officials for <br />other functions at the express request of the City. <br /> <br />10.3 Leave Request. <br /> <br />10.3.1 For any release time under Article 10, a request must be made in writing to the <br />Chief of Police, signed by the Association President, at least five (5) working <br />days prior to the requested time off. <br /> <br /> Such time off shall be granted if: <br /> <br />A. The City is able to properly staff the employee's job duties during the time <br />off (this includes Operations, Investigations and Services); and <br /> <br />B. The wage cost to the City is no greater than the cost that would have been <br />incurred had the Association officer not taken time off.
