<br /> <br /> <br />EVERETT POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION <br />PAGE 2 <br /> <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 - PURPOSE <br /> <br /> <br />2.1 General. <br /> <br />2.1.1 The purpose of this agreement is to increase the general effectiveness of the <br />Police Department and to maintain harmonious relations between the City and <br />members of the Association, and further, to promote morale and protect the rights <br />and privileges, well-being, and security of the Association members. To <br />accomplish the foregoing, the parties hereto agree to the following articles within <br />this contract.
