Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />Task 9 – Landscape Design <br />This task includes landscape architectural services for proposed roadway <br />improvements. Landscape improvements are expected to be limited to restoration of <br />disturbed areas and planting strips or medians within the right-of-way. <br />Landscape plans include: <br />• Planting plans to show tree locations and plant massing versus lawn seed or sod <br />areas. Planting areas will generally be limited to restoration of areas disturbed by <br />construction to meet and match existing conditions. <br />• Areas of accent planting or landscape improvements. <br />• Coordinate proposed stormwater treatment with landscape improvements where <br />feasible. <br />• Typical planting details. <br />• Plant palette and schedule of all plant materials including size, common name, <br />species, and quantity. <br />Assumptions: <br />• Presentation drawings and/or renderings are not included. <br />• Planting selections will be in accordance with City standards. <br />• A detailed tree protection plan is not required. <br />• Arborist report and evaluation of existing trees in not included. <br />• Presentation drawings and/or renderings are not included. <br />• Irrigation design is not included. Construction contract to require landscaping <br />contractor to provide watering/irrigation services until plants are established. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Landscape PS&E at 60%, 90%, 100% and Ad-ready design levels. <br /> <br />
