Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />Task 16 – Final Design (100%) PS&E Submittal <br />This task includes preparation of construction plans, specifications, and an opinion of <br />cost estimate based on the comments received from the City on the 90% submittal <br />deliverables. <br />Response to 90% Comments <br />Consultant will attend one (1) comment review meeting with City staff and provide the <br />City with written responses to the City’s comments. Responses will be provided on the <br />comment documents provided by the City. <br />100% Plans <br />Consultant design team will prepare 100% design level construction plans and submit <br />them to the City. The plans will be prepared to a level of competency presently <br />maintained by practicing professionals in the field of transportation engineering in the <br />Puget Sound Region. <br />The plan sheets will be the same as those identified under the 90% design phase. <br />100% Specification Outline <br />Consultant design team will prepare 100% level specifications based upon the 100% <br />design using the WSDOT PSE Program (run-list with individual specifications files). The <br />Consultant will address applicable 90% review comments and make revisions as <br />necessary. <br />100% Opinion of Cost Estimate <br />Consultant design team will calculate 100% design level quantities and prepare an <br />opinion of construction costs based upon the 100% construction plans and current unit <br />bid prices. Consultant will address applicable 90% review comments and make <br />revisions as necessary. <br />100% QA/QC of Deliverables <br />An internal Consultant quality assurance/quality control review of deliverables will be <br />conducted prior to submittal to the City, as well as confirmation that comments received <br />have been addressed. A record of comments received will be maintained. Response to <br />each comment received will be tracked to confirm that they have been addressed. <br />Assumptions: <br />• It is assumed that the 90% review comments will be minor in nature and not <br />reflect any significant changes to design. <br />• Consultant will attend one (1) comment review meeting held virtually.
