1 <br /> <br />LEASE AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> <br /> <br />This Amendment to Lease (“Amendment”) is effective as of the effective date stated <br />below, and is between the City of Everett, a Washington municipal corporation (the “Landlord” <br />or “City”), and the person identified as the Tenant below (“Tenant”). The Landlord and Tenant <br />are parties to the Lease described below, as may be previously amended ("Lease"). In <br />consideration of the covenants, terms and conditions set forth below, and for good and valuable <br />consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Landlord and <br />Tenant agree to amend the Lease as set forth below: <br /> <br />Tenant <br />David Futter and Jimmie Dean Butts <br />528 Madison Street <br />Everett, WA 98203 <br />Original Lease Date 9/9/2024 <br />Effective Date <br />of this Amendment <br />1/1/2026 <br /> <br /> <br />LEASE AMENDMENTS <br />Rent <br />Rent per month for the entire House is $2,575 + 12.84% Leasehold <br />Tax ($330.63) = $2,905.63 total per month. Mr. Futter and Mr. Butts <br />and other House tenants are each jointly and severally responsible <br />for the Rent. <br />Standard <br />Amendment <br />Provisions <br />Regardless of the date(s) on which this Amendment is signed by the <br />parties, and regardless of any expiration date(s) that may have <br />been in the Lease prior to this Amendment, the parties agree that <br />the Lease is deemed unexpired and continuously in effect since the <br />Original Lease Date. <br />This Amendment may be signed in counterparts, each of which <br />shall be deemed an original, and all of which, taken together, shall <br />be deemed one and the same document. <br />All provisions in the Lease shall remain in effect except as expressly <br />modified by this Amendment. <br /> <br />[signatures on following pages(s)]
